    बॉलीवुड एक्ट्रेस श्रीदेवी हमारे बीच नहीं रहीं। दुबई में देर रात दिल का दौरा (कार्डिएक अरेस्ट) पड़ने से उनका निधन हो गया। वे 54 साल की थीं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने उनके निधन पर शोक जताया है। अमिताभ बच्चन, कमल हासन, प्रियंका चोपड़ा समेत तमाम कलाकारों ने उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। 
          अमिताभ ने देर रात ट्वीट किया- "न जानें क्यों, एक अजीब सी घबराहट हो रही है।" श्रीदेवी अपने 5 दशकों के करियर में एक्टिंग के बूते सिल्वर स्क्रीन पर छाई रहीं। इसीलिए उन्हें पहली महिला सुपरस्टार कहा जाता है। श्रीदेवी को 2013 में पद्मश्री सम्मान से नवाजा गया था। एयरपोर्ट अथॉरिटी के सूत्रों के मुताबिक, रविवार 8 बजे तक चार्टर्ड प्लेन से उनका पार्थिव शरीर मुंबई आ सकता है।

                    वे अपने भांजे मोहित मारवाह की शादी में शामिल होने के लिए वहां गई थीं। यह शादी रास अल खैमा शहर में हुई। इस फंक्शन के कुछ फोटो उन्होंने इंस्टाग्राम पर भी शेयर किए थे। इन्हें उनकी जिंदगी के आखिरी फोटोज बताया जा रहा है। मोहित बोनी कपूर के भांजे हैं। श्रीदेवी की बेटी खुशी भी इस शादी में शरीक हुई थीं। खुशी के साथ वाली एक फोटो भी उन्होंने शेयर की थी।

श्रीदेवी पति बोनी कपूर और बेटी खुशी के साथ दुबई के होटल (अमीरात टॉवर) में ठहरी थीं, उसके बाथरूम में वह बेहोश मिलीं।

- गल्फ न्यूज ने होटल के सूत्रों के हवाले से कहा कि इस बात का शक है कि रात को उन्हें बाथरूम में ही दिल का दौरा पड़ा और वो वहीं गिर गईं।

श्रीदेवी का अंतिम संस्कार मुंबई में होगा। उनके पार्थिव शरीर को दुबई से लाया जा रहा है।

         13 अगस्त 1963 को तमिलनाडु में जन्मीं श्रीदेवी ने 1975 में आई फिल्म 'जूली' से डेब्यू किया था। इसमें वे चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट के तौर पर नजर आई थीं। 1983 में आई फिल्म 'हिम्मतवाला' ने उन्हें रातोंरात स्टार बना दिया। इसके बाद उन्होंने कभी पीछे मुड़कर नही देखा। 

- बता दें कि श्रीदेवी ने आखिरी बार 'मॉम' फिल्म में काम किया, जो 7 जुलाई 2017 में हुई थीं। इसके पहले वे 2012 में आई फिल्म 'इंग्लिश विंग्लिश' में नजर आई थीं।

 श्रीदेवी ने फिल्म प्रोड्यूसर बोनी कपूर से 1996 में शादी की थी। दोनों की लव स्टोरी फिल्म मि. इंडिया (1987) की शूटिंग के दौरान से ही शुरू हुई थी।
- श्रीदेवी का डेब्यू 1978 में सोलहवां सावन से माना जाता है। हिम्मतवाला (1983), मवाली (1983), तोहफा (1984), नगीना (1986), आखिरी रास्ता (1986), कर्मा (1986), मि. इंडिया (1987) और चांदनी (1989) समेत कई फिल्मों में काम किया।

- 1983 में कमल हासन के साथ आई फिल्म सदमा में उनके किरदार को काफी पसंद किया गया। 1989 की चालबाज, 1991 की लम्हें और 1992 में आई खुदा गवाह में वे डबल रोल में नजर आईं। 1996 में उन्होंने शाहरुख खान के साथ आर्मी में काम किया।

- शाहरुख की दिसंबर में आने वाली फिल्म जीरो में भी उनका एक स्पेशल अपीयरेंस होगा।

Facebook might soon require Aadhaar card linking

Update: Facebook has now confirmed that it is testing the optional prompt and it is not mandatory for people to enter the name on their Aadhaar card. The social media giant has stated that this will make it easy for friends to recognize them on Facebook.

Social media linking of the Aadhaar card might sound like a far-fetched dream but the same has been spotted by a Reddit user who has shared the screenshot. Also, a report by MySmartPrice has shown that Facebook is prompting new users to type in their name as given in their Aadhaar card. Though there is no confirmation regarding the same, this points out that Facebook could be testing Aadhaar integration in order to curb the menace of fake profiles that is becoming a major concern and put an end to online harassment.

Aadhaar card linking is the talk everywhere as it has become mandatory to link it with bank accounts and mobile numbers. Following the same, it looks like the Aadhaar verification has made its way to the social media as well.

                 It also notes that the social media giant is not forcing users to link their account to their Aadhaar card. Given that the prompt appears while creating a new Facebook account, there could be a possibility for the linking to make its way to the existing accounts anytime in the near future.

             The report notes that the Aadhaar prompt is encountered only when trying to create a new account from Safari web browser on the iOS devices. Also, it is tipped that the prompt does not appear to all the users and that it is random.

          Back in 2011, at the Aadhaar Developer Track conference, Nandan Nilekani, the architect of Aadhaar and then UIDAI Chairman stated that the Aadhaar number could be used as an identity verification tool across social media networks.
           The reason is that UID is an easy way to verify one’s account on Twitter and Facebook. And, any user can get verified accounts with their UID credentials.

Having said that, we need to wait for an official confirmation from Facebook regarding the Aadhaar card linking with the social media accounts.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Gets Face Unlock Feature via MIUI 9.2.4 OTA Update

                Redmi Note 5 Pro has received the anticipated Face Unlock feature via an OTA (over-the-air) software update. At its launch in India last week, Xiaomi promised that it will roll out the feature for the Redmi Note 5 Pro through an update by the end of March, but it has now released the update in an apparent bid to please initial buyers. It worth noting that the Redmi Note 5 Pro is Xiaomi’s first smartphone in the country to get the Face Unlock feature.

          Xiaomi is bringing the Face Unlock feature through the MIUI v9.2.4 NEIMIEK update that comes in 1.6GB. The new software update also includes camera improvements and stability optimisations. Although, as per Xiaomi Product PR Lead Clinton Jeff, the update will be available out of the box for customers who ordered the Redmi Note 5 Pro through its first flash sale earlier this week, you can manually check its availability by going to the Settings > System updates option or by using the Updater app.

                  The Face Unlock feature on the Redmi Note 5 Pro is touted to be faster than the fingerprint scanner. However, 

              it is certainly not as secure as the fingerprint scanner. Xiaomi India’s Lead Product Manager Jai Mani at the launch event elaborated the artificial intelligence (AI) tweaks empowering the Face Unlock.

       “Our face detection algorithm scans facial features in roughly 500 milliseconds using a high accuracy matching mechanism,” said Mani.

          Running Android Nougat-based MIUI 9, the dual-SIM Redmi Note 5 Pro (Review) features a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080×2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. 

         The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, paired with Adreno 509 GPU and either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. It has a dual camera setup on the back, with 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel camera sensors. 

        On the front, the handset has a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor that is accompanied by an LED selfie-light module. 

          Further, there is 64GB onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card and a 4000mAh battery.

             बता दें कि फेसबुक के ट्रेंडिग फीचर में वो स्टोरीज नजर आती हैं, जो कि इस वक्त सबसे ज्यादा चर्चित हैं। पर अब इसी फॉर्मूले में बदलाव किया गया है। 
 अब ट्रेंडिंग लिस्ट में सिर्फ वे ही टॉपिक्स नजर आएंगे जिन्हें विश्वनीय संस्थानों ने पब्लिश या शेयर किया है।
             उल्लेखनीय है कि फेसबुक ने ट्रेंडिंग लिस्ट को साल 2014 में लॉन्च किया था। इसके बाद           फेसबुक पर फर्जी ख़बरों को बढ़ावा देने और कई तरह के आरोप लगे। 
इसके बाद फेसबुक ने ट्रेंडिंग आइटम्स में ऑटोमेटेड सिस्टम लागू किया। 
          इसके तहत सबसे ज्यादा अटेंशन लेने वाले कॉन्टेंट को दिखाया जाता था। पर अब इस सिस्टम को भी बदलकर फेसबुक इसकी जगह विश्वनीयता का पैमाना रख रहा है। यानि अब वे ख़बरें ट्रेंडिंग में दिखेंगी जो विश्वसनीय स्त्रोत से आई होंगी। न कि जिन्हें ज्यादा अटेंशन मिली।

BSNL Launches New Unlimited Prepaid Packs Starting Rs. 99

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) on Tuesday introduced unlimited prepaid mobile packs starting at Rs. 99 for the Calcutta telecom circle to take on rising competition.

The telecom operator was also bullish on the 2100MHz spectrum band before its 4G rollout in the circle, which could be as early as from March this year, Calcutta Telephones CGM SP Tripathi said.

"We expect spectrum in the 2100MHz band within days and equipment is also ready," he said, sounding optimistic about the 4G rollout in phases across the city with 650-odd towers.

He said the new plan starts from Rs. 99 for 26 days and Rs. 319 for 90 days unlimited voice calls with roaming, except in Delhi and Mumbai.

At Rs. 999, the company will offer unlimited calls and 1GB per day high-speed data for 181 days.

Tripathi said he expects the next fiscal year 2018-19 to be "much better" for the company as the price war gradually settles.

In the current fiscal, Calcutta Telephones is hopeful of clocking revenues between Rs. 510 crores and Rs. 550 crores, while losses are pegged at about Rs 350 crores, company officials said.

It is also focusing on the recovery of dues from institutional and retail customers to the tune of Rs. 300 crores.
